Chocolate Protein Bars

One of our favourite parts about a vegan diet, is it means you have to get creative with your food and find different sources of protein. These Chocolate Protein bars definitely make the cut, delicious as a post workout snack, breakfast or just if you’re feeling peckish!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of a chocolate vegan protein
  • 1 cup of organic rice puffs
  • 1/4 cup gluten free oats
  • 1/2 cup Almond flour
  • 2 tbsp Nuoi foods Hazelnut Cacao nut butter
  • 6 tbsp Almond milk (add more if it doesn’t quite stick together)

Method:

  1. Mix all of your ingredients together in a bowl until combined. If it doesn’t stick together enough then add a bit more almond milk)
  2. Put the mixture into a small greaseproof-lined tin and press down with the back of a metal spoon
  3. Refrigerate overnight
  4. Once set, you can cut out into bars shapes
  5. These will last around 1 week in the fridge
  6. Enjoy!!
