Chickpea & Chilli Peanut Burger (gluten free, vegan)

This is our favourite burger that we’ve made so far with our Chilli Peanut butter, so we just had to share! It’s juicy, full of flavour with lots of protein and nutrients too! Everyone will love it!

This delicious recipe makes 2 large burgers or 4 smaller ones.


  • 1 can of chickpeas
  • 2 tbsp of Nuoi Foods Chilli Peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 4 tbsp gluten free oats
  • 1 tbsp gluten free wholemeal flour
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 tsp dried mixed herbs
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp pepper

Extras & toppings:

  • burger buns
  • vegan cheese
  • tomatoes
  • lettuce
  • more Chilli peanut butter…

Method (you’re gonna love how easy this one is..):

  1. Pre heat the oven to 200 degrees fan
  2. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper
  3. Add all of the ingredients into a blender and whizz it up into a thick paste (if it’s not quite thick enough, just add an extra spoonful of flour)
  4. Get a large cookie cutter and place on the baking tray
  5. Spoon the mixture into the cookie cutter and repeat until you’ve got some nice round burgers ready to cook
  6. Put you burgers in the oven and cook for around 30-35 minutes
  7. Remove them from the oven, use a spatular to plate them up
  8. Add your tasty toppings and enjoy xxxxx
