Fancy some Sunday baking? Here’s the perfect treat for you – Hazelnut Cocoa Cookies. Made with Nuoi Foods Hazelnut Cocoa butter, they will be sure to satisfy your chocolate cravings!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1 tbsp Nuoi Foods Hazelnut Cocoa
- 1 tsp natural vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp almond milk
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp ground hazelnuts
- 1/2 cup coconut flour
- 1 tbsp gluten free plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
Method:
- Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees fan
- Mix together all of the wet ingredients in a bowl
- Sieve in the flour and cocoa powder
- Add the hazelnuts and baking powder
- Mix until combined, add a little more almond milk if it’s too dry
- Roll your cookie dough mixture into small balls, and then flatten them into discs
- Place them on a baking tray lined with grease-proof paper
- Bake for 8 minutes
- Remove the cookies from the oven and leave to cool for 10 minutes
- Enjoy your delicious cookies (they taste extra good with a little more nut butter added on top…)
